In September, I was looking for a little escape to the British countryside, but where to go?
I came across Coastal Cottages on Instagram, and the wonderful landscapes of Pembrokeshire sounded just like the right thing I needed.
I reached out to them and they found me the most perfect little place to stay, in an old Butchers Shop, in the middle of the picturesque village of Little Haven. As soon as I reached the village, driving up on the hill and driving back down to the shore, I completely fell in love with the place. I got into the home, and straight away put my wellies on and went for a walk on the beach at low tide. It was amazing.
There's loads to do around Little Haven as well, I walked to Broad Haven to buy some groceries, and took the car over to Marloes to walk about around until I got amazing views over Skomer Island. I ate at the pubs around there (too lazy to cook) and also had an amazing full English at the café by the beach.
And when it was raining (which I was really pleased about, as it gave me an excuse to stay in the little house) I just enjoyed unwinding with a nice bath, and reading some of the lovely books at disposition, taking a nap on the super comfy sofa.
Here are some photos of my stay, head over to Coastal Cottages to see all their beautiful properties alongside the Pembrokeshire coast! *My stay at Coastal Cottages was complimentary
